The Research On Routing Protocols And Related Technology Of Wireless Mesh Network Based On QoS

Wireless Mesh Network (WMN) is a new kind of distributed and"multi-hop"network, which has large capacity and high speed, so WMN has received great attention from different industries in recent years. As one of the key technologies in improving network performance of WMN, routing protocol has high study value.On the basis of an existing DSR multipath routing protocol of WMN, this thesis presents an improved routing protocol based on QoS. This protocol adds a QoS parameter restraint to the existing protocol and it can choose the preferred route from many routes which are not related, while using the rest of the routes as alternative routes. Simulation experiment shows that the QoS performance for WMN is improved in the aspects of data transmission efficiency and end to end delay, etc.Meanwhile, this thesis applies hierarchical structure of Chord to WMN and designs a kind of hierarchical method of balancing load for WMN. This method is a form of the existing scheme for load balance combined with logical link migration algorithm. Simulation experiment shows that this method has achieved relative ideal load balance effect in WMN, and it provides guidance for future research on the load balance routing protocols. Moreover, it has great practical value.
