With the increase of the collection of books and archives, archives management is becoming increasingly difficult in enterprises and institutions. Manual methods of management can not meet the current requirements. A large number of books and statistical are manually recorded into the file, which is inefficient and error-prone in mind, omission and other issues. Currently, bar code is the most widely used technology. A library file is in correspondence to a bar code, and a management system is used to maintain information of library books, records, as well as bar codes. In each time a book is carried in or out, a bar code scanner scans the book for record and statistics. In this way a certain extent, reduce the error rate caused by artificial statistics, but every book needs to manually scan which still takes a certain amount of time and effort.Enterprises and institutions in order to improve the storage units, monitoring, management efficiency and statistics efficiency of important books and archives, the system will combined RFID technology with traditional records management books and realize the importance of an RFID-based library management system. This system is mainly achieved: the storage management of books and archives in schools and various organizations; access control of archives room and monitoring room; switch status monitoring of bookcase and archives box, brought out or brought into monitoring of archives. The main work of this thesis is as follows.1. A solution is proposed for applying RFID-based technology into the management of books.2. A RFID-based book management system is designed and implemented the system, whose results are tested;3. The system has been successfully deployed in an organization, and it improves the existing management mode with desired results.
