Mobile communications industry come into the rational development period, competition network is a higher price ratio network, needs to focus on improving services and first-class network quality, needs to use good network design. For a good running and monitoring wireless network, wireless network planning and optimization occupy a very important position.Network planning mainly includes 3 aspects: coverage planning, capacity planning and quality planning. In currently mobile communication market access to the era of competition that descrip by " grab the market, grab a share ", competition turns white-hot with each passing day. On one hand we should fully tap and utilize TD to their technical characteristics, On the other hand ,we should also consider new challenge .brought by the 3G new services. In GSM / TD-SCDMA networks coexist, business complementary demand situation, how to integate a double coverage, capacity and business ,to make full use of their advantages become the key of network operation.This paper have three part.Firstly,It introduces GSM and TD-SCMDA wireless technology.Then, Introduce the researching about feasibility of the GSM / TD-SCDMA dual-network integration based on the following two aspects:Due to the technical development start later, progress is at a disadvantage in commercial. Using the new operator independent networking mode, is difficult form equal competition in a strong industry chain of the existing operators.New TD-SCDMA operators which is lack of competitiveness will affect the development of TD-SCDMA effect ultimately. The new operator by using the TD-SCDMA mass independent networking scheme to be successful in the marketplace, the difficulties and risks are relatively large.Using GSM / TD-SCDMA dual-network integration network program, obviously can alleviate the independent network scheme for some drawbacks. The advantages of this approach can not only effectively guaranteed TD-SCDMA commercial scale, and the ratio of new carrier independent network scheme is more practical, gain more opportunities to win the marketplace, so the TD-SCDMA camp initial development goals are consistent.Finally, combining the above network strategy, analysis and verifiacte the case through the various scenes.
