Design And Implementation Of The Management Information System For A Unit Of Life Service Center

Military living service center is an important component of our military logistics and military supplies support system, and plays a huge role on meeting the demand of mess support in socialist market economy. However, with the development of the military modernization, there are still some not quite reasonable and not very scientific points in military living service center. Therefore, to have further development and keep pace with the modernization of our military supply and affordance, an information management system for military living service center is introduced in this paper. This paper fuses the idea of software engineering with the management information system for a military living service center. Based on the actual situation of a troops, combined with the characteristics and needs of the integrated management of life service center, this paper studies several important practical problems, such as the basic ideas, development approach, popularization and application of establishing an information management system for military living service center. By database technique, a management system for a military living service center is completed.This paper introduces the development of the management system for a military living service center, mainly including the followings:1. In this paper, the characteristics of information management system (MIS), and the theory and designing idea of software engineering are studied. It's concluded that adopting the software engineering theory can efficiently help to develop an efficient and practical MIS, which provides the construction of management system for military living service center with favorable theoretical and techinical support.2. The realizing method of management information system for a military living service center, the software development tool, and the system frame design are discussed. The whole system is composed by project management module, material management module, financial management module, and system maintenance module.3. The system development project and the function of each module are introduced in detail. The development steps of this system adopts project development stage model, and the system configuration uses Borland Delphi 7 and Database Desktop. This system classifies and standardizes each business activity of the service center, establishes basic standard library, and then realizes computer management. This system has been operated smoothly, and obtained the praise of logistics department.
