College The Remote Admissions Data Processing And Analysis Platform Design

In the 21^st century, IT(Information Technology) has become the major power to affect the social productive forces while the application of information technology directly determines the efficiency and effect of a college. With the further development of the higher education system, in 2003, the Education Department has required all the colleges and universities to enroll the new students with using the long-distance system on the Internet. While the informatization of enrollment and the uniform of the admitting data pattern provide a better environment for us to deal with and make use of the data.At present, most of universities are using National University Enrollment Management System developed by Tshinghua University for enrollment on Internet. The System has the powerful enrollment functions. However, it can only export the code and enrollment data to be DBF or EXCEL files. So, in the other hand, it is feeble in data processing and analyzing.The old data processing method is not only time-consuming, but also more likely to make mistakes. Therefore, we analyze the present enrollment management of Leshan Teachers College and put forward a college enrollment system based on the C/S mode, and successfully put some technology, such as DELPHI, ACCESS, SQL, into practice. Meanwhile, based on the anticipation to the function of the system, the data defending mode, admission data management mode, the enrollment mode, and the setting of the enrollment planning mode, we already have achieved the goal of downloading the enrollment data completely, transforming the data automatically and making the register online promptly. The system has been carefully tested and is now put into practice in the admissions office of Leshan Teachers College and works well.
