Enrollment Management, Information Systems Development And Research

With the development of the computer network technology and database technology ,education information becomes an important part of school management. Enrollment as an important part of school mangement will exchange much information with the departments concerned. Data of enrollment management department ,as the original data of the departments concerned, could provide strong support for the data of the departments concerned. Enrollment management information system is previously adopted by static pages, which could allow users to view relevant information. However,static pages lacks of communication with the users. As a result, it is very difficult for the administrators to maintain and update them.Management information system presented in this thesis is designed in accordance with the aim of the informationization of school management ,which aims at building the web-based enrollment management information system in oder to achieve with the management of enrollment news, enrollment information,students recruiting, professional introduction,online message,and so on. The requirement analyses, design plans, module functions, system testing, the valuation and maintenance of the enrollment information management system are mainly discussed in the thesis.Designed by the B/S(Browser/Server) mode ,the system in the thesis consists of the user system and administrator system. The user system is designed by ASP, while the administrator system ,by SQL Server 2000. In enrollment management information system users and administrators,via web application programs and browser software, could have an access to the administrator system database to accept data, which updates the existing form of static pages to dynamic updating data. The platform based on the B/S mode, without special software, is easy for users and administors to maintain data and has the character of better web expansion that the TCP/IP could be easily connected to the Internet. In the B/S mode platform,users are concered about the URL(Uniform Resource Locator) rather than program's and data's the physical locations which are not important for them. The system,with the character of flexible interface and easy manipulation, is designed by modular and object-oriented program so that users can spare much time and efficiently ,rapidly and accurately realize their aims.
