Textile printing and dyeing industry was main industry in the area of zhejiang particularly shaoxing, as domestic and international competition intensifies, The cost of production increased steadily, society in environmental protection requirements are strictly, it's a challenge to the traditional equipment and techniques .It was in such a background, the paper proposed the development of DCS dyeing machine system with integrated information management interfaces. This project is not only to develop a control system, which can automatically implement the whole production process according to requirements of dyeing technological and accuracy of temperature controlling and can be long-term operated in the high temperature, moist or the acid-base environment reliably and safely ,but also to develop a software which can monitor and manage more dyeing machine.This paper firstly discusses the development status of dyeing machine, then in the light of dyeing process and functional requirements, on the overall scheme of the system is discussed and the design, ultimately determined Panasonic PLC FPXC60TD as the core for system, Combined with converter with touch screen, sensor, motor and other components of the hardware system. With RS485 bus + Modbus agreement to form a DCS, monitoring and management software based on OPC technology,Compared with the conventional multithreaded programming methods,can greatly reduce the workload of application programming and improve the control system stability and reliability.The dyeing machine controller hardware design and software design are introduced in detail, the dyeing machine controller and host computer communication protocol is designed and the PC management software structure, design and realize in detail.Finally, the system is debugged, it proved can meet the design requirements. Also carried out energy-saving control experimental system, the experimental results show that, the system has a good effect of energy saving and emission reduction and economic benefit.
