At present, there are about tens of thousands of studios, theatres and other venues in our country and most of them using traditional stage lights. The power of these lights is several hundred watts to several kilowatts. So their consumption of power resources is very huge and this gives a great challenge to our Energy conservation policy. In addition, most of the traditional lights use analog dimming methods which have been used for many years. But if using these methods to LED lights, they will let LED occur hue error which seriously affects artistic effect of stage lighting. This paper design a LED stage lighting control system based on DMX+ protocol through researching and analyzing on the features of LED , DMX512 lighting control protocol and buck converter, which uses digital dimming method and can adjust LED brightness without occurring hue error. Meanwhile, the system can achieve high-capacity control of lights and intelligent. The paper mainly focuses on the following aspects:First of all, combined with trend of LED's development and status of stage lights using, the significant effect by using LED lights and the status of researching on lighting control system at home and abroad are analyzed. At the same time, the trend of dimming control system's development is proposed through performance analysis on traditional dimming system.Secondly, improved DMX512 protocol, that is DMX+ protocol and the principle and overall design of stage lights control system based on DMX+ protocol are proposed through in-depth analysis on Physical characteristics and electrical characteristics of LED, DMX512 protocol and Specific principles of buck DC-DC convert.Thirdly, based on the functional requirements of LED stage lights control system , paper designs hardware circuits and software of each function module whose working principle and process are also analyzed.Then, the paper testing each function module of system to verify system whether can work normally. The specific test methods and test results which are analyzed are given. Eventually the system reaches the requirements that are pre-designed.Finally, paper conducts a brief summary for all work and looks to the future for LED and LED control system. |
