With the development of human civilization and progress, the natural ecological environment people surviving has been severely damaged, as an important part, air pollution has got more and more attention. With the continuous improvement of comprehensive national strength and the rapid development of the national economy, there are important practical significance and scientific value to carry out long-range detection of air pollution. Today when increasing emphasis on air quality, on-truck detection equipment is used in real-time mobile air quality testing. To against the shortage of small-caliber, short detection range and poor mobility of current infrared detection, the paper designs an on truck scanning structure for remote air quality testing. In this paper, the following several aspects of research work have been carried out as follows which are basing on the on-truck scanning structure of the infrared detection equipment:(1) Summarized the purpose and significance of research, expounds the present situation of air quality detection equipment and the direction of research, summarizes the research content.(2) Introduces the basic theory of infrared detection, theoretically proved using passive infrared technology as the feasibility of air quality detection.(3)Introduced the finite element method, to against the on-truck application environment of the infrared detection equipment, introduced the basic theory of system dynamic analysis.(4) Made the structure design of the on-truck infrared detection equipment. Mainly embodies in the structural design of the equipment selection and vibration isolation design.(5) Static analysis of the telescopic lens system has done, the result shows that the reflectors meet the reflector surface deformation requirement with gravity load or temperature load. Modal analysis of the infrared detection equipment has done to obtain the natural frequencies and mode shapes and get the dynamic stiffness of the system. The results show that the system has good dynamic stability and reliability.(6) Modal test of the infrared detection equipment is done by hammer beat method, after comparing with the results from the finite element analysis, showing the reasonable of the designed finite element modal. Field test is done in the on-truck application environment to verify the reasonable structure.
