With the growing enrollment in vocational colleges and the ever—increasing work on the final examinations in each semester accordingly, the drawbacks of the traditional examination pattern, with paper and pen being the main tools, have emerged more and more obviously, and thus network examinations show their promising future. To deal with the current situations, the online examination system is developed.First, the thesis discusses the background of the selected topic, the research status and level at home and abroad, the research implication, the research contents and difficulties and solutions of the project. Furthermore, the analysis and research are carried out on the demands and feasibility of the system; the thesis introduces the relevant theoretical foundation for the realization of the system and the overall structure design of the technology and system, and the thesis also describes the functions of the system; the thesis takes the online examination using C Language Program Design as an example, illustrating the improved technique in scoring algorithm. Based on the different characteristics of objective and subjective items, exact matching mode is adopted in objective items and static scoring is combined with dynamic scoring to mark the subjective items.The system is implemented with C/S framework, and designed on the basis of the existing campus network within vocational colleges. The system consists of the following three modules:item bank management module, examination module and scoring processing module. The scoring system is developed with the combination of Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and C Language. The system adopts the technology of Delphi and TCP/IP, and applies Visual Basic, C Language and relevant knowledge in compiling theory.
