As an effectiveevaluation way of the education, examination had been from the traditional writtenexamination to the Web-based online exam. It had become the development trend of thefuture examination mode. Therefore, make full use of modern web-based tools to designand develop online examination system based on web and it has very importsignificance for information technology education and the development of teachingquality.The main research contents and achievements included: this paper studiedASP.NET and ADO.NET which were the key NET Framework components forconstruct online examination system, meanwhile it studied the strategy of random testpaper and marking theory, and mainly the study on the use of the AJAX frameworkAnthem,and studied the overall functional structure of the online examination systemand analyzed the system user and the user’s workflow; it researched the feasibility ofonline examination system based on Web form the technical and economic aspects; Itanalyzed system data flow, gave the system top-level data flow diagram, the explodedview of one layer data flow diagram and the second floor data flow, and analyzed theflow of data entry system. It analyzed the design goal and design ideas of the onlineexamination system based on Web, described the system’s basic architecture, illustratedall layer’s function in the architecture and analyzed the key module in the system; Itdescribe a online test paper method based on heuristic search algorithm that used in theonline examination system.It studied the key technologies to realize the random testpaper and the paper generation in Word form for the online examination system basedon Web.This paper researched the online examination system based on web. The systemshould have good openness and universality and could apply to multi-functionalexamination. The system mainly used the test paper strategy that the same benchmark papers but different examination papers for candidates, thus ensuring fairness and normsof the examination; the system could support the marking method that the automaticscoring of objective questions and scoring subjective questions in the systembackground, which could make the scoring more equitable reasonable; the system hadthe function to generate the Word form examination paper, so it not only could generatepapers for the online exam, but also to print papers out freely to organize traditional test,which made online examination system had more flexible. The system uses the onlinetest paper based on heuristic search methods, this method can be based on user-specifiedtemplate quickly complete the online random test paper, and use constraints to ensurethat the knowledge of coverage and the success of the test paper.
