Compared with the traditional holography, the digital holography adopts the image sensor devices of CCD or CMOS instead of the holographic plate, to record the holograms and store them to computers, and uses the computer programming to analog of the process of optical diffraction to reconstruction of holograms and its subsequent processing of the objects that recorded. The digital holography has been widely used in recent years because it omits the complex process of chemical wetting, shortens the exposure time, and lowers the requirement of the system stability. The paper describes the records of digital holography and the principle of its reconstruction, and further introduces the basic theory of holographic interferometry, which provides theoretical basis for the next experiments and the data processing.Matlab has the characteristic of a powerful computing capacity of data and graphics, while VB has the advantages of the simple and convenient programming and the visualization of its interface. In this paper, it combines the two kinds of software together, and adopts the COM technology, which first through the own component of generator in Matlab generates the dynamic linking, then sends the digital hologram to the DLL, and completes the process of dealing with the hologram, finally displays the results of the reconstruction in a specified window by the software platform of the VB language design. In such a way of the design of software platform by VB and the data operations by Matlab, the mixed programming of the two can shorten the time of design and programming, and make the parameters modified conveniently and having a good portability, so as to improve the efficiency and effects of the holographic images in the following handling, which has certain practical value.In order to verify the feasibility and accuracy of this method, The paper conducts an experimental detection by the example of digital holographic analysis of the motion of sucrose particles in distilled water and dealing with the change of stress field of organic glasses with holes, and has a mixed programming of the collected digital hologram. Compared the results of the mixed programming with the theoretical analysis, it proves the method is feasible to a certain extent.
