Introducing computer technology and photoelectric imaging technology into thetraditional holographic technology have promoted the development of digital holographictechnology greatly and reduced the difficulty of recording holograms in traditionalholography. Digital holography is widely used for its easy operability and better dynamic.The research is carried out around the problems that information compression, displaytechnology of digital holograms and color digital holographic technology. Works asfollows have been completed:1、the information of digital holograms recorded in experiments is compressed based onthe principle of binary holographic interference. Diffraction efficiency, as the indicator,is calculated by using MATLAB to measure the quality of the digital hologram aftercompression, the result validated the feasibility of the compression method.2、A display system which considers DMD as the core part is designed to reproducecompressed digital hologram, the reconstruction is bright and clear.3、The optical path is built in experiment to obtain digital holograms illuminated with red,green and blue lasers respectively,and then the rebuild the holograms by computer,after that, the reconstructions are weighted stack hierarchically by MATLAB tocompose the color image.
