With the rapid development of society and economy, vehicles have been widely used. More and more road traffic accidents happened, which not only caused huge economic losses but also threatened people's lives. How to use computer technology efficiently, easily to show the entire accident on the case has become a social focus and significant research.In this paper, the purpose is to design and implement a simple interface, easy operating and fully functional visual accident demonstration software, which can provide supplementary means for demonstration of traffic accidents for the traffic police.The main features of this software includes:1) The scene layout of the accidentAccording to scene drawing technology, using computer graphics has achieved convenient the scene layout of accident function. Generating multi-row roads is one of the features of this article. By simply clicking and setting properties, all the required kinds of multi-row can be formed.2) Automatic detection of the collision pointAutomatic detection of collision point is to confirm and detect collision point in the process of vehicle collision. Based on reasonable assumptions, with application of kinetic energy theorem, momentum theorem and related mechanical theories, we established the corresponding collision and detection of collision point models of the collision of different types to find out the collision point.3) Traffic automatic traveling along the designated pathThe function aimed to demonstrate the running condition of the vehicle in the traffic accident, where the condition mainly included the running track, speed and rollovers, rear-end typical actions in the process of traveling. In this paper, firstly, implementing lines of the roads where set by curve fitting, then the cars traveled along the slope direction of the paths, finally, designing the control points to manipulate speed and collision body changing was reached.4) Achieving special sparks and other effects When cars were running along the track, this effect can make the collision sparks out caused by the vehicle collisions and objects bursting phenomenon more vividly. In addition, collision fireworks and objects self- rotation effects can be achieved according to setting the multi-frame images and animations picture at the control points.This software selected Windows as a software running platform, with VC++ programming for implementation. It has been adopted by the users'test, and has been applied in several domestic Traffic Management Bureaus and has accurately demonstrated the whole process of the accident. It has got good results and certain social application value.
