As one of the most important department in a Thermal Power Plant, the fuel department is responsible for ensuring the production process work in right way. The fuel department is supports coal, oil and other fuel supplies. As the statistic shows, 70% of the cost is used for purchasing fuel like coal. Therefore, to reduce the cost of fuel became the key point in saving costs.In this dissertation, the design of power plant fuel management system will enable the purchasing of fuels plant, weighing, quality inspection, storage, clearing a series of process data both automatically and intellectualized. Thus, the objective in reducing purchasing costs and energy consumption could be achieved.
