This paper based on the project "Aolong Cab Floor Robot Welding Line" of Shaanxi Heavy Duty Automobile Co., Ltd. The project would develop a robot welding workstation based on the technological process of Aolong cab floor welding line,included the structure design and control system design to realize the auto welding of Aolong cab floor,improve the work efficiency of truck cab floor welding line and product quality, reduce manufacture cost,increase sales volumn in the market competition.This paper presented the design method of the robot welding workstation according to the overall arrangement of Aolong cab floor welding line,established the kinematics model of KUKA industry robot which applied in the project,analysed the kinematics equation of KUKA industry robot,provided basis of effective control to welding robot.,In the workstation control system based on site concentration line technique,studied and possessed the influence of main welding technological parameters to welding quality,set them in logical value considered with the result of site experiment, it also detailed explained the workstation control method and some key question,it can be referenced by others when they design the similar welding workstation.
