It is a tendency to introduce information management for ordering dishes in hotel cuisine. When information such as checkout, account, and logistics is managed comprehensively by computer, the hotel will improve greatly the management service level, the economic benefits, and the grade. However, there is a lag in information management in hotel cuisine.A management system of collecting wireless date in hotel is developed in the thesis, which uses the advanced technology of the short-distance wireless data communication and the technology of developing the embedded microprocessor. Main contents are as follows:1. A database management system for the background management machine in the wireless order dishes system.2. The software and hardware of the handheld data collector.3. Based on the wireless WAN and the matching equipment, to establish the communication protocol, and to design the hardware of the controller.4. Application and improvement.The research involves much professional knowledge such as the database management technology, the embedded system developing technology, the wireless mobile data communication technology, the network technology, the operating system's development technology, and the clipping and transplantation technology, etc.Targets shown in the following are realized in the project:1,Mass menu is stored in the order dishes device, which meets the dishes-numbers demand.2,The menu is modified momentarily by sending data wirelessly, which avoids the menu to be reprinted and modified manually.3,The stand by time is up to 30~40 days because of the longer duration in hotel.4,The popular dish ranking is obtained by analyzing the order dishes data, which provides decision-making base for managing dishes. 5,The software is designed with a humanized interface and is easy to be used. Besides, it has functions of retrieving and querying data, generating and printing report, and inputting all kinds of data.
