The CATV companies's broadband service using the technology of HFC(Hybrid Fiber Coaxial) that Two-Way Transmission System.Technician should go to scene to monitor the HFC using the network device.If the customer terminal presents a problem,the technician should make an appointment with customer to measure the power and SNR(Signal Noise Rate),The traditional method is very time and laborious-consuming.The HFC management system can solve above problems,adopt the technology of network and software to real-time monitor the headend equipment and cutomer terminal device,when the parameter appears problem,the technician can solve the problem beforehand,avoiding the connection dropped.So the project is very important for HFC's OAM.The thesis with Broadband of CATV as main line in the situation of combination of network of Telecom,The thesis provide solution about CATV's construction and terminal management, Implement the management system of CMTS and Cable Modem with communication and software technology.The system can realize the Real-time management and monitoring to Head end and customer's system.The system can improve efficiency and save manpower.The system can Real-time monitor the terminal system make use of SNMP protocol.Creat the system's flow graph of data and control,Draw the system program structure graph,Describe the parameters and functions of every modual.Complete Read/Write to device's MIB,Design the interface of foreground module,Calling the Data Base, give the CMTS access network management a new idea.
