The CMTS broadband access technology base on HFC is a promising hi-tech boasting of economization,wide band and extensive coverage.But Provide integration broadband service on HFC need network management system and authentication accounting system to support. Netwok management is not only a basis for the network's proper operation,but also a key ensuring the network's stability and high-efficiency. Authentication accounting system is the direct and effective method for service providers to get their payments which is vital for the development of the broadband network.This paper researches the design and implementation of the data collecting system of the network management system , heartbeat server of the authentication accounting system.The organization as follows:The chapter one introduces the research background ,thesis source and main work.The chapter two introduces structure of the CMTS broadband access network, structure of network management system and the data collecting system, subscriber authentication accounting technology, structure of the authentication accounting system,design of heartbeat server.The chapter three introduces the requirements,design objective of the data collecting system,analyzes the key issues during system design and brings forward solutions, expounds the system structure and implementation.The chapter four introduces the server design technique,system requirements,work processes, analyzes key issues during system design and brings forward solutions,expouds the system structure and implementation.The charpter five summaries the all achievement of paper.
