Based On Net Inner Mongolia Institute Of Electronics Design And Implementation Of Library Management System

Since entering 21st century, computer information management system already became a means for books management in the area of library. The use of information management systems in managing the library ensures standardized, systematic, and programmed of books management, which can improve the working efficiency. With the rapid development of science and technology as well as the wide application of Internet in the world, the Browser/Server structure that is an improvement of Client/Server becames a main mode in the system structure of web application and is gradually replacing the Client/Server structure.Applying the structure of Browser/Server can flexibly arrange a book management system in LAN and WAN, users can easily implement the functions such as search and advanced borrowing by the browser.A book management system based on the Browser/Server structure and three-tier structure was designed by this paper. First of all, the paper introduced the development status and trend about book management system at present at home and abroad, and proposed the background of the design development. Secondly, this paper introduced the development methods and architecture of the system. As the same time, this paper studied and discussed the development tools such as SQL Server 2000 database and ASP.NET. Lastly, we expounded the realization process of the system, which includes requirements analysis, module division of function, database design, main frame interface design and partly code realization.The system finally realizes the basic functions such as information input of books and readers, information search, borrowing, and returning. It can meet the needs and ensures the safety of books. In addition, this system can implement remote login and remote management.
