Research And Practice Of Rural Digital Learning Platform Based On Agent

Development of computer and network technology provides a new opportunity for digital education, and so does for education popularization in rural areas. Because of the decentralization in location and lack of information resources in rural areas, its education appears to be vulnerable. Rural digital learning platform, based on Agent, is a kind of intelligent digital rural distance education system that is supported by computer networking. This learning platform could provide personalized learning environment for rural college students and help them to realize lifelong learning.The present rural digital learning platform is available for on-line learning and communication, but could not provide personalized learning well. What the platform displays for the students is the same learning contents; it could not unfold different learning strategies and contents according to different characteristics of students. Now Agent is to be introduced into this learning platform. Structure, function and implementation method of every Agent would be analyzed, so the overall design model reflecting personalized learning would be put forward. In this new learning platform, every Agent would tail after students'learning process at any time, record their individual characteristics about their know-how and learning interests, and also adjust learning strategies timely when necessarily. The main contents and achievements of this thesis are as follows:1. On the basis of the current situation of rural digital learning platform, Agent is to be introduced into this platform. The related Agent theory which supports the platform design is also studied, the advantages Agent will have in the rural digital learning platform are analyzed as well.2. The design model of Agent-based rural digital learning platform is put forward; every Agent functional model and database related to the platform is specifically designed.3. The overall structure and framework of Agent-based rural digital learning platform is constructed; based on this, the detailed design and development process of students'model is expatiated upon particularly.
