Agent-based Personalized Learning System Design And Realization

With the development of network technology and the wide use of the Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS), the teaching on the net has become a more prominent subject for study in the field of educational technology . Considering the poor dynamic alternation , the less prominent individual ,the imperfect navigation ,the poorly emphasized tracking of the learning record ,etc, this thesis makes a study and some improvement on the above-mentioned defects ,combining the features of the intelligent Agent Technology with the Intelligent Tutoring System.As this thesis describes , when the individual tutoring system is designed ,a Agent layer is placed in the traditional B/S mode to from a three-layer B/A/S Model and the Agent is used to manage the information about the learners dynamic track the learning records of the learners and provide more reliable bases for the establishment of the Student Model .The autonomy and reactivity of the Agent can satisfy the need for an individualized warning and navigation provided automatically by the system when the students are learning .System includes students' Agents and teacher's Agent .Study in coordination between the learners can be finished through the social nature of the Agent .The teacher's Agent can communicate with the students automatically and learning about the students' study anytimeBayesian Nets is a sketch model for combining diagram theory with rate theory in the artificial intelligence realm. Bayesian Nets is used to imitate the causality of the thing within realistic world. Making use of the ability that Bayesian Nets can combine the first validate information with the behind validate information, which code the causality of knowledge. Evaluation of students' ability can be updated immediately by joining information into the Bayesian Nets, which provides a basis for the individual learning and exact strategy for singling out questions.With C Language Programming as experimental contents , this paper offers the whole framework and workflow of the Covering Student Model ,all the functional models and the design for them ,and emphatically analyses the design for the Agent layer ,produces and offers relevant key codes ,enabling the system to realize individuality in study ,which is mainly embodied as the choice of learning styles and the presentation of individual learning contents ,individual warnings and navigation ,tracking of learning records and individual learning guidance.With the use of Asp , Java and the theory of Agent," The Individual Learning System On Agent"(IlSOA) is realized by the system ,the trial operation of which shows that the desired results are achieved and some effects are produced in the individuality,alternation and intellectual ability of the ITS.
