Research And Design On Personalized Learning System Based On Mobile Agent

With the great development of information technology and network technology, modern teaching distinguishes itself from its traditional counterpart in teaching environment, educational contents, means of instruction and disseminating forms, and etc.. Undoubtedly, there is a great diversity among learners of intelligent level, physic condition, mental state, family environment, education background and so on. As such diversities, learner-centred autonomic personalized learning is becoming a hot direction of the modern education research.Mobile Agent technology integrating distributed computing technology with artificial intelligence technology is a new type of distributed computing technology, and it has a lot of advantages such as self-determination, reactivity, activity and mobility. It provides a new concept for personalized learning system.The dissertation, integrating mobile Agent technology with personalized learning concepts, presents a personalized learning system model based on mobile Agent and discusses system architecture, working mechanism, design and implementation of the personalized strategy, working principles and working process of each Agent, migration and driving of mobile Agent.The main contents of the dissertation are as follows:(1) Researching characteristics of personalized learning and personalized learning system, design personalized learning system model with the advantages of mobile Agent.(2) Studing and analyzing the system architecture and working mechanism, designing working principles and working process of each Agent.(3) Describing personalized strategy in personal characteristics extraction, the evaluation of learner's ability and dynamic organization of teaching contents.(4) Detailing system implementation, major modules, key technologies and it's implement combined with Aglet flatform.
