With the development of wireless communication, the WLAN coverage increases ceaselessly in particular, the multi band and low profile antenna which is suitable for mobile equipment is increasing demand. Hilbert curve fractal antenna is a kind of suitable for integrated planar antenna. In engineering, researching and designing Hilbert curve fractal antenna for the WLAN dual band has very important practical significance. This article based on mastery of the electromagnetic simulation software, with a proposed single frequency Hilbert fractal antenna as an example, the establishment of the corresponding model, obtained the antenna performance parameters, and based on optimization simulation design, carving the corresponding samples, and the results are basically consistent with the literature results, lay good foundation for dual band Hilbert curve fractal antenna.Then the thesis focuses on the application to WLAN dual band Hilbert curve fractal antenna, the antenna works in 2.4GHz and 5.3GHz. In order to make the antenna bandwidth covers the whole WLAN network, to achieve the desired bandwidth, and make the antenna miniaturization and integration, this thesis presents a sheet about fractal antenna, the low-frequency section on the left side of the fractal antenna, the high-frequency section on the right side of the fractal antenna, in order to make the interaction of two bands small enough, this article detailed studied the feed network design, obtained the structure of antenna which met the requirements after simulation, and make a real sample, the results show that:the design can meet the requirement of antenna miniaturization. The thesis consists of five chapters, the first chapter of introduction, introduced the background of research and the main work of this thesis, the second chapter introduced the basic antenna parameters, the third chapter takes the dipole antenna work in 900MHz for example, introduced the use of electromagnetic simulation software, the fourth chapter learned an existing literature regarding the single band Hilbert fractal antenna, the fifth chapter detailed designed dual band Hilbert curve fractal antenna, finally gived the conclusion and prospect.The bandwidth of the antenna designed in this thesis is completely covered by the WLAN two bands, and the efficiency is more than 40%, fully achieved the index expected design, the designer provide reference for the engineering application of this kind of antenna.
