| Port Automation was developed form the sixties and seventies of twentieth century near the coastal and river ports in China. For the late start technology of PLC and the low degree of automation in our country, it is early to realize the port fully automation and information with the development and the maturity of process control technology,automation Instrument technology,computer network technology and the recovery of foreign economic in our country. This paper designs of DCS-based distributed control system served in ShangDong TIANSHUN port and researchses on it with the platform of American Rockwell Corporation Controllogix control system.In the Part of port's transportation and handling technology, we introduced the natural conditions of the port,the features which could effect the control system design and other external factors first, and then description the detail of the port transportation. Lastely,we designde the controlled plants based on the technological process.The system is divided into system functional designning, network designning, hardware designning and software designning in the designing of Distributed Control System. Every need has been concerned in detailly in ordor to meet which may occour about process, security and surveillance management and the others. Then the network,hardware and software has been designed detailed based on functional designing.So that,it can be sure of the security, reliability, lowcost of this system.The U.S. Rockwell's NetLinx control system network architecture was used for the large port control system and hard centralizemanagement information. This network was also been deep researched. The designed has been put into practical operation. The results show that the DCS control system has the advanced of fast response, good quality control, and high accuracy .It meets all the design requirements.This paper has meet the need that network configuration, data communication, interface design and data redundancy storage in conveyor belt to complete the port distributed control system. Distributed Control System is designed to solve the previous low level of centralized control of information, operational failure handwritten report, data storage, the shortcomings of poor security, greatly improving the port level of automation control and information so that port operations and efficiency has been further enhanced. |
