Application Expansion Of SPSS Software In Terms Of Management Decision

SPSS software, as the statistical analysis software, is widely used in the international world now. It obtains the rapid popularization in each domain because of its many characteristics such as automatic statistical cartography, thorough analysis of the data, easy to study and use, complete function etc, and becomes the important means for management organization in various professions to raise the management level and form the scientific decision. However, our country is also at the early application stage for the software's understanding and utilization, also far from the Western developed country within research development of its function and utilization in the practical life. Specially, in aspect of the management decision, the superintendent is playing the very important role in objective reality's accurate assurance regarding of decision-making. they spend massive manpower, physical resource, financial resource to collect statistical data, but it is waste because they don't carry on the depth analysis, or carries on the simple analysis using the SPSS software, but not to carry on the depth development merely, so they obtain limited information, or relations are not explicit during various information, and finally causes superintendent's judgment to present the deviation. Today, our country needs promote management level in large scale, also needs us to carry on the thorough analysis and the new annotation to the SPSS software's function, and causes it to support the management decision effectively.Firstly, the article carries on the specification to application situation of SPSS software in various trades and occupations as well as software's correlation theories and function of supporting management decision; Then, analyzes application situation of SPSS software in education administration and determines the software's serviceability in teaching training management of enterprise university; Then, taking some university's teaching management as the example, the information, rule, function direction and problems, which exist in training, are revealed from different angles in this paper, though analyzing and processing 176 groups of data of the statistical table in teaching management of some training college using many kinds of statistical methods in the SPSS software; Finally, promulgates that SPSS software's function obtain not only statistical value and the function of supporting management decision, but also the more important extended function of supporting organization strategic decision.The analysis results prove that SPSS software can provide superintendents with more profound, widespread and more focused strategic management decision supports in the processes of teaching management and effect evaluation. In addition, it effectively improves the trained strategy of the college and optimizes college's resources deployment.
