Development And Application Of Integrated Laboratory Management System

Laboratory management for the current domestic universities still use manual management tools, or stand-alone management system rather than using the network management, or LAN-based and neither fit for the universality of the status nor for developing an integrated management system. For computer labs, to develop a more advanced and more scientific management methods to manage complex laboratory, become an urgent need.For the purposes of this study, based on the actual requirements research in Tianjin University Lab, combined with work experience, a complete set of system requirements is got. Based on this requirement analysis, an open laboratory information module, experimental teaching modules, laboratory team management module, and equipment management module have been established in this research project. It also supports multi-level multi-role user control, including system administrators, laboratory manager, laboratory workers, teachers and students.The overall system design, follow the nature, stability, practicality, safety and maintainability principles, based on the popular B/S structure, on Visual Studio 2008 platform, using C# language, combined with ASP.Net technology and SQL Server 2000, it achieve a prototype design and development.System and platform integrated with the university laboratory's daily operations are closely linked with the application.Connected to RF card system network, checking attendance data collection, making the data real-time accurate.The system user-friendly, with good navigation, maintainability high.
