The conception and methodology of CIMS (Contemporary Integrated Manufacturing Systems) are introduced first by this paper in analyzing the CIMS architecture of the hydro-junction and in integrating the whole system. Based on analysis with the CIMS methodology of function modeling and information modeling on the existing system and setting up a rationalized and scientific architecture of the hydro-junction, the automatism realization on the operation flows of the flood control scheduling system and the water resource distributing system is modeled with the CIMS' process integration methodology (IDEF3). For accomplishing the whole computer integration of the system, the Workflow Management Technology (or system) is introduced by this paper to solve highly integrated computer system, including function, info and procedure integration, therefore to accomplice the integrated scheduling management system; and the software frame of the computer whole integrated system is put forward, based on the technology of the distributing workflow service/workflow processor. There are three points on this paper:1.The analysis on the architecture of the hydro-junction; According to study the existing CIM architecture of the object, and the CIMS' modeling theory (including the CIM architecture theory, IDEFO, etc) and the macro aim at the computer integration, the advantages of the existing model of computer integration are pointed out, and its CIM architecture is analyzed. Based on the fundamental study, a kind of rational CIMS architecture of the hydro-junction is given out, including its rational function structure, logical structure, and hierarchical control, decision-scheduling-field's control application system structure.2.The knowledge acquirements on the process modeling of the hydro-junction; Based on the actual conditions of the fundamental operation flows and application sub-systems, the process (operation flow) integration is put forward, carrying out the scheduling automation in flood control and water resources distributing. Based on the CIMS process modeling, and referring the IDEFO models each other, the operation flows only of the scheduling managements are modeled and analyzed. The results of the process modeling prove that the available process integration is able to bring out the highly integrated computer system to carry out the scheduling managements of the synthetic operations.3.The whole integrate computer frame. Through studying the developing stage of the system integration, process integration is the higher developing stage of function and info integrations. Workflow management system can integrate the three. Therefore, the IDEF3 models can be transformed to the workflow models based on the theory of the active net diagram. For accomplishing the whole computer integration of the system, the Workflow Management Technology (or system) is introduced by this paper to solve highly integrated computer system, including function, info and procedure integration. The software frame of the computer whole integrated system is put forward, based on the technology of the distributing workflow service/workflow processor. The system integrating frame can satisfy the requirements by the scheduling management system on security, distribution, flexibility, and interactive.
