Research On The XML-based Model Base System

As an advanced scientific and technical method, the decision support system can provide alternative solutions to solve the semi-structured or unstructured problems, and help the user improving their decision-making. The model base system is one of the three components of the decision support system, which supports the service related with the model to the decision support system, and the model base system is core of the decision support sub-system. Nowadays, the model base system still has so many problems. For example, the model base system will become complex when there are many models; The traditional model base system does not use a unified development platform, which make the transfer of the model parameters very difficult; There is no separator between logic and data, which cause a lot of special procedures to be done; The model base system doesn't support the combination of models and the model reusing.Aiming at the problems existing in the traditional model base system, this paper design a solution base on XML and reflection, and state the model base, model dictionary and model base management system. In the model base design, this paper save the information about the model running parameters and reflection information using the XML; In the model dictionary design, this paper save the model classification, the details of the model and the relation between the model and the model classification using the XML; In the model base management system design, this paper save the model combining using UML file.The model base system is accomplished using the design in this paper. It has been tested by the company, which can solve many problems existing in the traditional model base system.
