Study On Evaluation Index System For The Informatization Level Of Hospital In China Based On Gray Statistics

Purposes: This study aims to use the qualitative and quantitative methods (especially the gray statistics ) to develop a set of the hospital information assessment indicators system. This system was based on the analysis of the current hospital information assessment indicators system at home and abroad.Methods: Firstly, literature analysis method and Delphi method were used to establish the hospital information assessment indicators system. Then, analytic hierarchy process (AHP) was used to accomulate the weight of various indicators. Thirdly, the gray statistics was applied to quantitatively process the indicators.Results: (1) The hospital information assessment indicators system has 6 first class indexes and 20 second indexes. The information consciousness, informationization human resources, the application of information technology, information infrastructure construction, information security and information efficiency index was included in the first indexes. The second indexes comprise leadership and departments, informationization budget statements, informatization importance expectations, information support degree, human resources, information training dynamics, acquiring knowledge through computer, hospital standardization level, hospital web portal construction level, hospital information system application scope, equipment configuration, the engine room capacity, network level, independent development ability, information safe investment, security of hardware and software, security system, informationization security measures, informationization construction investment , and the influence of hospital performance.(2) Analytic hierarchy process was used to identify the weight of each indicator. The weight of the first class indexes are 0.2314,0.1031,0.2189,0.1916,0.1343,0.1207. The weight of the secondary class indexes are 0.0677,0.0564,0.0620,0.0453,0.0373,0.0435, 0.0223,0.0391,0.0399,0.1399,0.0762,0.0344,0.0457,0.0353,0.0375,0.0210,0.0214,0.0544,0.0463,0.0744.(3) The 15 hospitals'informatization level were assessmented by the indicators system. Grey theroy was used to analyse qualitative data.(4) The reliability and validity of the system was tested. The result showed the reliability and validity of the system is good.Recommendation: It is necessary to increase sample size to inspect the scientificity of the model. Lastly, I stronly recommend using grey number statistics to deal with the inaccurate evaluation.
