Lightning is a very common climate phenomena. Lightning always appears with large current, strong magnetic properties. Because of the large current and the strong magnetic, the lightning brings very great harm to human. Precisely because of the big harm, the lightning probe becomes a very important job. Both at home and abroad, there are a lot of lightning monitoring systems, all system are based on the characteristics of lightning to judge lightning.At present, lightning detection is mainly used in the following aspects: (1) the meteorological operations on the application (2) protection applications against lightning (3) in other aspects of application such as telecom system, power system, transportation (civil aviation, highway, railway, etc.).This thesis mainly introduces a kind of way which uses photoelectric detection to detect the lightning in light spectrum. This system base on the lightning's slope characteristics and threshold characteristics as judgment basis. This thesis mainly introduces lightning detection system's hardware circuit. The hardware circuit mainly includes front-end sampling circuit, filter circuits, secondary amplifier circuit, lightning judgment circuit, upload data circuit, control camera circuit design. We hoped finally can complete the entire circuit with low noise and the whole circuit can finish lightning judgment. In this thesis the hardware's circuit testing part completed the front-end sampling circuit, filter circuits, secondary amplifier circuit, lightning judgment circuit, upload data circuit, the camera control circuit testing by module .Through the circuit test, we can improve the inadequacy. Finally we test the whole system's circuit to ensure the circuit can eventually realize to lightning signal detection.
