Strap--down inertial navigation system (SINS) is a kind of veryadvanced inertial navigation techno1ogy, and it is the deve1opingdirect ion of inertia1 navigat ion. For SINS has a series of advantages,it has become a trend that SINS wi l1 take the p1ace of p1atform inert ia1navigat ion system in new century. This paper is on study on datasampling and processing techno1ogy of gyroscope in SINS.The project of torpedo SINS was demonstrated and put forward atfirst. The hardware of SINS was introduced in detai ls, which inc 1udescomputer. gyroscope' acce1erometer. The paper described how to choosehardware and des ign the rebalance ci rcu1 ts ot gyroscope andacce1erometer. The working principle of SI\S was il1ustrated- Thesottwdre dnd f1ow chart of SI\S was described.The electr ic c ircu it of data pre--process ing and samp1 ing ofgyroscope in SI\S was des igned. The sample ru1e was introduced. Thee1ectr1c c 1rcul t tor magn1 ty, t1 lter and commutate on the s1gna1 ofgyroscope 1n S1\S. 'l'he paper a1so designed the e1ectric circu1 t forA/D converter and for interface c ircu1t wi th CPLD techno1ogy.The algorithm of attitude matrix determination was one of thecruc ia1 techniques of SINS. The paper done deep research on thea1 gori t hm of at t i tude matri x, and determined the at t itude ang1 e of shi p.The s imu1ation of the error margin of thi s a1gori thm was al so done wi thc1assic coning motion.The data process ing software and app1 icat ion software of the S1NSra jJ\ 7Ax ixx,was a1so designed. The design of software was rea1 ized with C++1anguage. The software system inc1uded survei 11ance and controlsoftware, di sp1ay software adapted to engineeriflg and app1 icationsoftware for attitude matrix determination.
