As a kind of important nature phenomenon lighting is a drastic discharge phenomenon that occurred in active rain cloud, is the only factor delegating the intension of atmospheric convection. Meantime it is an important way to detect deep convection using space technology. Lighting instrument with other data from earth can deepen the knowledge for sea and earth, meantime it is the data base of thunderstorm and lighting distributing in global weather research. Knowing the character of lighting, locating, lighting analysis not only has big effect to national economy, but also has deeply effect to military actions. Meantime it has very important sense to doing well in weather forecast, preventing assault of convection weather, preventing fire and disaster, ensuring national economy and national defense.Earth detecting is the major part of traditional method for lighting detecting, identifying lighting by the waveform of lighting signal. With the develop of the satellite remote technology, foreign countries have already detected lighting by optics using planes and satellite, such as NASA has already detected the strongest relax character on the top of cloud by U-2 plane, Japan and American together send TRMM with LIS for detecting lighting day and night, and gain a lot of useful data. But this kind of research hardly start up in our country, with the develop of satellite technology in our country, using satellite to detect lighting has become a important topic.China's new generation of geostationary meteorological lightning satellite need to address product generation algorithms, these products will be mainly to apply to our torrential rains, typhoons, hail and other severe convective weather monitoring and warning. The main contents include:(1)Lightning radiative transfer transport simulation.Using Boltzman transport theory, the spread of radiation under the conditions of a reasonable simplification for different thunderstorm cloud microphysical and optical study parameters and carry out radiation intensity lightning light cloud simulation, product generation algorithms as lightning forward calculation database;(2) Lightning calculation and observation data processing method to study the use of lightning imaging device to obtain the basic data unit of lightning events, generates the Lightning Flash Products of the lightning pulse; (3) High-precision geo-positioning method of lightning, lightning geo-positioning is to be built CCD focal plane detector unit established with the earth as the ranks of the correspondence between the longitude and latitude, but the correspondence between perturbed by the satellite platform and lightning height and land surface elevation and other factors, to establish reliable treatment methods to correct these factors;(4)Lightning product generation software algorithms running test, the use of the LIS data and simulation data, begin running test algorithm, test method precision software degree, improve the algorithms and software.This article is to develop a lighting data handle system through deeply analysis and research for detecting method outside, counting technology state in our country, find improve ways.Chapter one introduces the background and work theory of satellite carrying lighting instrument, then introduces the technologies for building the lighting data handle system. Chapter two discusses the method of lighting signal simulation, before the satellite is send, there is less real data, for research and test we get lighting signal forming character using data information outside and analysis. Chapter three uses Monte-Carlo simulation method to simulate the transform process of photons from lighting source, finally proved the validity of the lighting simulation method by statistical method before. Chapter four discusses the noises existing in the light images, characters of those noises and method to filter them.
