The enterprise signs the service contract and negotiates the price with the logistic company. Then pay the logistic company according to actual freight transactions. To monitor this process, both sides need an effective freight payment management system.Because of the many choices of transportation methods, time limit, other cost such as insurance, clear customs, surcharge, it is very difficult to give a formula to calculate the freight charge. And there isn't such freight payment information management system for all purpose.This article introduces the course of building the freight payment system for a large scale industry. At first we illustrate the problem in this area and giving the target accordingly. Then we determine the customer requirements; confirm the business process and overall system architecture. At last, we provide the detail design on the basis of the requirement and process.This system has been implemented. It improves the management efficiency; saves cost and augments the enterprise logistic service level.
