Study On The Framework Design Of Road Freight Data

The transportation industry is the basic industry of national economy, which plays animportant supporting role for the development and progress of the national economy. Roadfreight transport industry as an important part of transportation industry, has thecharacteristics of fast, flexible and convenient, and plays a prominent role in the protection ofcommodity circulation and social and economic operation. Designing reasonable dataframework is the foundation and key statistical research and scientific decision-making, and isan important basis for the scientific management of road freight transportation industry.Based on the comparison of the development of market, status quo and data betweenChina and U.S., this paper provides the value experience from the construction of laws andregulations, statistical analysis, the process of social development three aspects. Combiningwith the situation of our country, author summarized their respective emphasis on the demandof road freight data from the perspective of government, enterprises and consumers. Thisprovides strong theoretical basis for the design of road freight data frame. Road freight dataframe as a way of organization and integration of data sources, including a full set of tools,components and data flow. This paper analyses the framework of road freight data from thedata structure, data acquisition and data maintenance, and designs indicators of the price, thevalue and the development of industry economy. The paper provides that the structure of datais based on the freight system, the freight economy, the freight safety and the freight energyand environment. For getting the data, the paper has considered the statistical methods anddata sources, which used the sampling survey as the main ways, statistical statements andcensus as supplements, and other technical means. To obtain accurate, complete and timelydata, the paper has proposed the establishment of basic data maintenance system. On thisbasis, the paper has put forward the improvement suggestions for Chinese road freight dataframe from the reconstruction of road transportation statistical system, improving the roadfreight transportation statistics index system, comprehensive use of various statistical methodsand establishing freight process regulation system etc..
