Railway port station is national gate, a bridge and link between countries. In recentyears, along with the Sino-Russian partnership of strategic cooperation is deepening,China's largest railway port station Manchuria volume rises considerably, showing amomentum of rapid development. Although the railway sector invested large amountsof funds for infrastructure construction, expansion and reconstruction, but it still can notmeet the rapid growth of the demand of traffic volume. In this case, it is the effectivemeans to enhance the working efficiency and the capacity of transportation by archivinginternational transportation business informatization and sharing information withRussia railway, customs and forwarders.At first, this thesis studies the situation of domestic and foreign railwayinformatization construction. And then it deeply researches and analyzes theinternational transportation business processes and specific requirements of Manchuriastation. It optimizes the original business processes. And then it determines the actorsand the mutual cooperation relationship between the actors, and builds the use casemodel of international transportation information management system for port station.Then according to the requirements this thesis designs the system from variousperspectives. The system mainly uses Client/Server architecture and Browser/Serverarchitecture mixed. The system takes IBM P570as host, Oracle10g RAC as databaseand MQ middleware as transmission software. The system exchanges information withcustoms in XML format files and exchanges information with Russia railway in EDIformat files. The system consists of11modules such as documents dealing, customersservice, documents management, transshipment operation and so on. Each module isdesigned in detail using object oriented method, and class diagrams and sequence diagrams are created. Then this thesis defines the computation method of transshipmentoperation and designs the database entities and their relationships with ER diagram.The system is implemented with C#and Microsoft Visual Studio2008tool. Afterimplementation, the system is carried out detailed functional testing and interfacetesting. Finally the system put into trail operation at Manchuria station. According theresults of tests and trial operation, this system has reached the design goal, realizedManchuria station international transportation business informatization, and sharedinformation with customs, Russia railway, forwarder and the original informationsystems at Manchuria station. This system improves the work efficiency andtransportation capacity of Manchuria station, improves the service level of internationaltransportation department, and has obtained very good economic benefits and socialbenefits.
