Design And Application Of Fundamental Information Sharing Platfrom Of Urban Transport Based On GIS

Currently, the informationization of urban traffic in China lags far behind the urbanization and the fast development process, which making that the urban traffic managers can not get scientific decision basis, and the traffic participants can not enjoy high-quality information service. It becomes one of the main bottlenecks limiting urban function exertion, long-term development and economic and social construction. The foundation of traffic informationization is the realization of basic information sharing. Thus, the establishment of urban traffic basic information system becomes an inevitable requirement for unban traffic sustainable development.In this paper, comprehensive and systematical study has been carried out to design and develop a sharing platform of urban traffic basic information. The main research contents are as follows.Data processing of sharing platform for urban traffic basic information has been researched. The data format method of CAD and GIS based on Arc GIS, FME, GEOWAY and Super Map was comparatively analyzed. The results showed that Super Map was more suitable for application.Data deficient compensation research of traffic flow was proposed based on PPCA. The results proved that the proposed method was more effective than traditional data compensation methods and linear interpolation methods.Heterogeneous data processing method was proposed. Heterogeneous XML document was finally formed by extracting heterogeneous traffic data and eliminating heterogeneous pattern of XML.The user-definition, main function, covered data scope, software system structure, hardware and software requirements for platform running was presented for urban traffic basic information sharing platform based on GIS.The design and application of urban traffic basic information sharing platform based on GIS was elaborated, functions including remote sensing geographic information management, basic traffic information management, transportation infrastructure management, traffic condition management, traffic demand analysis management, and aid decision making was described.The urban traffic basic information sharing platform based on Jilin traffic data has been applied on traffic industry competent department of Jilin. The using result proved the effectiveness of this platform and the validity and practicability of relevant basic theory.
