Research And Implementation Of DRM Technology Based On Distributed Network

With the rapid development of internet technology, especially the distributed network, the speed of digital products'selling and communicating was vigorously promoted. But those products are easily to being copied with good quality and to being distributed with low cost, which makes the internet as the cribs of illegal user and distributor. Currently, we can not solve the copyright problem completely by the law, in which case DRM (Digital Rights Management) technology has been invented. DRM technology can protect the digital content by technology. It can limit the legal user's accessing permissions by encrypting and adding digital watermarking in the digital content. Only the subscribers can use the products properly. It protects the legal rights and interests of the digital products'author effectively.The DRM system that based on distributed network can be used to protect the audio and video files from illegal using. The system mainly applies as a protection to the recourses'distribution between a server and its contacted embedded client. The function of DRM system model Based on hybrid P2P (Peer-to-Peer) model were divided into the following three parts:The encryption protection of video files by the content server. We used the 3DES algorithm to encrypt the video files; The management and distribution of the keys by the permit server. The permit server receives the user's registration, and distributes the video licenses to the legal user; We have designed the function of the mplayer which would be used in the embedded client, including user registration, applying for a permit, playing protected video files, and other functions.Finally, we analyzed the security of the three function modules and optimized the system, to make it better suitability.
