A Research On Radar Terminal Image Display Middleware Technique

With the development of the need of Radar terminal display and the improvement of hardware for computer,the display software for radar terminal display has been highly promoted.Although the traditional display mode has been used widely, display that only depends on software is springing up like mushroom in today radar terminal application.As the improvement of the display card function and the image processing technique,display depends on software will prevail in radar terminal display.According to this,the military bring forward new requirements for radar terminal software development.Besides,the reuse of mature module can reduce cost and promote the efficiency.Component Based Software Development is a new method for software developing,which is used to realize module reuse and makes it possible to develop a software application by assembling existing components.This is also meets the requirements of the military.Object Management Group put forward CORBA Component Model in CORBA specification Version 3.0,which makes it possible that components can be assembled by interface.It is a method of software reuse.On the basis of analyzing CORBA component,this paper takes traditional radar display mode as an example and realizes some display control module in CCM.Here are the main tasks of this paper:(1) Research on the main features of CORBA Component Model.(2) Analyze CCM implementation platform and briefly introduce the component implementation in CIAO.(3) Take traditional radar terminal display control module as an example, implement A/R display,B display,P display and driver interface in CCM under CIAO platform and analyze the real time ability.(4) Design the client interface for component invocation and the driver for picture card needed by display software.
