Along with the development of the power electronic technology, nonlinear load is widelyused in electric power system, nonlinear loads the resulting voltage and current harmonicseriously affected the power quality power transmission system. Active power filter (APF) as anew kind of harmonic and reactive compensation devices, and traditional passive LC filters, it ischaracterized by rapid response, can achieve good effect and compensate the advantages ofdynamic compensation, obtained fast development.This paper first introduces harmonic source generation, harm and management, theclassification of active power filter, the harmonic signal detection method and the currenttracking control method to study the status quo.Secondly, introduce parallel active power filter composition and working principle;Introduce based on instantaneous reactive power theory in the p -q assay and p q i -i assay,were analysed based on a suitable for three-phase four-wire system harmonic current detectionmethods.Then, introduces several common parallel active filter algorithm; the control Of parallelactive power filter harmonic detection link analysis related problems; To detect the sourcecurrent methods and detection methods of load current equivalence research and simulation fordynamic performance comparison; Analysis parallel active power filter compensating voltagesource type harmonics source related issues.Then introduce of parallel active power filter current control methods. Including thedecoupling control and repetitive control theory analysis and simulation experiment.Finally, design based on double DSP APF control system, and have been investigated.
