| With the rapid development of information technology and intelligent control technology, people have higher requirements with the living environment; smart home has become an inevitable trend. It is hoped that through the smart home technology, intelligent management and monitoring of the living environment and the home appliances will be implemented, and it will meet the needs of users.This paper focuses on how to implement the remote monitoring and control of smart home, the paper first describes the development status and trends of smart home in domestic and aboard, presents the main research topics. According to the current requirements of the intelligent home, we use GSM communication technology and embedded Internet technology these two ways as remote monitoring methods, designs and develops the smart home remote monitoring system with the functions of remote monitoring and control home appliances, remote monitoring of indoor temperature and toxic gases, home security alarm response, and gives the structure of the system, hardware design and software design idea and the main program.The smart home remote monitoring and control system use digital signal processor TMS320F2812 as the main chip, integrated Ethernet interface, and Ethernet in accordance with the TCP/IP protocol for data transmission. The master chip integrates embedded Web server, using embedded CGI technology writes the static monitoring homepage and the dynamic CGI interface program, we can use the IE browser of the remote PC, log monitoring page of the embedded Web server, by clicking the button on the page to query and control the status of household equipment. In addition, the master chip can connect with GSM module through the RS232 interface, by AT commands programming, users can access the status of the household through the cell phone text message, and we can also use SMS to control the home.In laboratory conditions, the paper tests the system. The results show that the system achieves the desired design goals. |
