With the rapid development of railway industry, the expanding ranks of crew members and the increasing operating pressure have brought enormous pressure and challenges for the operations management. As present, timing-salary assessment system is used for crew in passenger department, and attendance work by hand bring a large amount of work time and attendance error. In passenger department, the attendance of passenger (referred to as crew in the following) include crew-out, ask for leave, crew-not-out. According to the attendance information, crew's wages are calculated monthly by the attendance personnel. Therefore, in order to effectively improve the managers'work efficiency and standardize management, it is necessary to develop a crew attendance system which is met with passenger management system. In the research of the relevant departments and personnel, this thesis describes the development of the crew attendance system which includes client-based crew attendance and web-based crew search platform by use of.NET platform, C# and the combination of C/S and B/S structure.First of all, the research background and research status are introduced.Secondly, the overall objective and general description of crew attendance system is proposed. And business process is analyzed through the research in detail, so the overall demand for attendance system is identified. Then, the use case diagrams of the system and the activity diagram are also given.Thirdly, the system's software architecture design is outlined, the system is divided and the function modules are designed. Meanwhile, after the static structure diagrams of the system are devised, they are transformed into databases of the system. Finally, the thesis mainly discusses the various parts of the system dynamic structure design, and also gives the sequence charts of these modules. The specific realizations are elaborated and the operating results of the system are presented.
