Software Communications Architecture (SCA) station is a kind of open, standardized and modularized common hardware platform, it can realizes functions as many as possible by software. Different communication software can be loaded onto the hardware platform as required to achieve different communication modes and functions. Therefore, for the increasing military and civilian needs, SCA station can overcome the defects of most of the traditional stations, such as inability to communicate with each other, functional singleness, single frequency and waveform and poor networking ability, not being cost-effective requiring expansive hardware to enhance their capacity and so on.This thesis begins with an introduction to SCA standard and hardware platform of SCA station. After the analysis of the demand, working principles of signal processing module, the functional circuit and embedded software are designed. The design of functional circuit includes the design of DSP, FPGA and CPLD circuits and the design of serial bus circuit, memory circuit and power supply. The design and realization of embedded software include the design of CPLD and DSP. Then, the power consumption of the signal processing module and the mean working time between failures are estimated. Finally, all parts of the signal processing module are successfully debugged, after which an on-line united debug of the signal processing module and other modules of the station is carried out, the modulation-demodulation of various signals as well as the dynamic load of different modulation and demodulation modes are realized. Thereby, the feasibility of this design scheme of signal processing module is verified. The design method of the signal processing module and the solutions to the on-line united debug in this thesis are practically valuable to the research and application of the SCA technology.
