With the social development and people's rising living standards, all the services and hospital management have become more humane, automation and paperless. Hospital outpatient management system in the hospital information system plays a very important role and is viewd as a window of the hospital facing the patients, with its large amount of data, information sharing and high demanding real time as the main characteristics of the registration, triage, fees, refunds, settlement and management of all aspects of pharmaceutical requirements and detailes.Modern hospital outpatient management should have a human services system such as convenient outpatient management system, fast patient self-checking system and accurate billing system to improve working conditions for doctors, reduce nurses' work intensity and improve efficiency of all aspects.Meanwhile, it also provides hospital management staff at all levels with basic statistical data to achieve modern hospital outpatient management, maximize the efficiency of hospital services for patients, improve hospital resource utilization, and finally gain a good social and economic benefits.Patient management information system is an important part of HIS (the hospital information system), and with the development of hospital information and for its superior platform characteristics and new component framework, the HRIP information platform has been put into good use. This paper discusses the Medical School of Jinan hospital outpatient management system development ideas, strategies and methods, through the computer and network technology to build business components based on HRIP platform (Platform of HIS) in the hospital outpatient information management system. This paper first analyzes the background, introduces the system development, domestic and international research status, problems encountered in reality, and the composition of this article; Secondly, the school management system for hospital outpatient clinics registered in the subsystem, outpatient charging subsystem, outpatient physician station subsystem, outpatient nurses station and outpatient pharmacy system were focused on requirements analysis, system design and implementation; Finally, research and development work were sumed up with conclusion and prospect.At present, the hospital system has been running successfully in the campus hospital of Jinan Sanitarian School and has achieved certain results, improving the efficiency of the hospital school, bringing students, teachers and community patients more conveniency and efficiency.
