Rules-based The Privacy Ontology Reasoning

Ontology as a conceptual modeling tool to describe information system on the semantic and knowledge level is widely used. Privacy which related our life is a very important field, privacy problem obtained more and more attention as the popularity of e-commerce. In order to protect network privacy, we must find a way to describe privacy domain knowledge. However, privacy is not only an isolated area, it also closely related to such as the economy, law and other disciplines, so it need a privacy knowledge base to exchange knowledge between different areas. This paper uses ontology to describe privacy domain knowledge. But the ontology's explicit knowledge can be direct obtained, the implicit knowledge can only obtain by reasoning.This paper use privacy knowledge as the research object, focusing on how to use the ontology which described by ontology description language and ontology reasoning applied to the privacy domain, launched a more in-depth research. First researched the knowledge of ontology and privacy domain, through analysis the core concepts and relationships between concepts, building a privacy ontology use ontology engineering, and described it by ontology description language, then test whether there has any contradicted knowledge to ensure the consistency of the privacy ontology. Meanwhile, learn the knowledge of ontology reasoning, design the reasoning on privacy knowledge, established rule library according to the characteristics of privacy domain. Finally, combining privacy ontology and rule library, designs and realizes a prototype system on privacy ontology.The mainly innovative work reflects:Analysis the characteristics of privacy domain, established a privacy domain ontology, and test the consistency of the privacy ontology;Design the reasoning on privacy ontology, established the rule library of privacy ontology.
