Dynamic power management is an important technology which used to achieve low-power embedded system designment and has been widely used in portable electronic devices, mobile communication terminals and network equipment. Android mobile devices, as the mainstream operating system of current embedded system has attracted both business and academic attention, although the method of Android platform in the dynamic power management is able to reduce energy consumption and save system resources but still facing many challenges. And it is lack of an effective dynamic power management support. Therefore, studying how to improve and optimize the current Android dynamic power management, in order to better adapt the system integration of mobile devices, has important application value. In response to these questions, the thesis beginning with a brief overview of the concept of dynamic power management, the basic principles, scope and related algorithms; Secondly, combining Android platform architecture, we constructed a system level development environment for Android, and illustrates the the basic framework of embedding Dynamic power management, based on the issues above we analyzed and researched the Android dynamic power management and the related technologies to provide guidance for the follow-up chapters. The main contents and activities include as follow:●Prediction algorithm based on the dynamic ALT monitoring strategy, combined with dynamic monitoring mechanism in Linux operating system, we propose a dynamic monitoring mechanism in Android platform to help us to implement the Android dynamic power management.●Dynamic power management based on embedded basic framework, we improve and optimize dynamic power management methods of the Android platform in order to achieve a multi-state transition function, and higher controlment of power states.
