Wearable device covers all aspects of people's social life,entertainment,fitness,navigation and so on.Especially,functions on health management have captured considerable attention from users of all ages.Bluetooth Low Energy,which wearable devices based on,also focuses on the application of health management.In this paper,the research is based on the application scenarios of this field:The pedometer,as a data collection terminal,collects motion data,and builds a two-way communication channel with android application to transfer data and send instructions.The application store the collected data in the server,also it can extract information from database and to display it.The target is to build a health information system based on the above scenario.This paper focuses on the research and development of Bluetooth Low Energy technology,android application,and server.Firstly,the protocol stack of Bluetooth Low Energy,the research focus on BLE properties analysis and comparison,and how to improve the stability of connection between android and Bluetooth device,to search for a reasonable optimization and to verify it.The research clears the way for application development.Secondly,design and develop the android application.Requirement analysis is needed before design and development.The main task is the connection and communication between application and Bluetooth device,and other functional modules like weather forecast,data list,and data graphs based on it.Lastly,considering the closed-loop data,to research and develop the server.The mainstream design architecture,Apache,MySQL and PHP is selected.After considerable research,design,development and test,the result shows the system can accomplish the above functions,and work well.
