Research On Mobile Core Network Based On Soft Switch Technique

Thanks to its flexible capability of service, the application of softswitch technology has showed great advantage in the market. After discussion and experience for some years, the soft switch technology has started to emerge. Although the commercial deployment might have faced a little problems, for example, people still have different views on it, this new technology has been continuously improved by practice. The establishment of China mobile softswitch network and its formal release in 2005, proved the possibility of softswitch's commercial usage of large scale, and meanwhile indicated the tandem network of soft switch has entered into a mature stage. However, the real focus of softswitch lies in the VMSC. It became the biggest obstacle which has prevented softswitch from a whole network spread that how to unite all kinds of access method to softswitch, that how to improve the network backup of different levels, the reliability and method of combination, and that how to stop illegal division and roaming. The real power of soft switch technology can be fully released only based on the solution of those problems.My thesis , based on Atrium softswitch, do my best use the knowledge learnging inGCT ,intends to study all kinds of access technology and external interfaces, to discuss the schemes of network combinations of large scale, and focaus on the performance load-sharing of the system and the distribution of mobile subscribers. Finally, the thesis studies possible problems in the daily application, and its impacts to HASH algorithm. It also provides the improved suggestions on the disadvantage of HASH to dual-node error, average load sharing, and collision.This document introduce distribution soft switch system will develop new services and deploy quickly depend on open software platform, advanced protocol stack, operation platform. And provide solution to traffic load sharing and mobility profile distribution.
