| In the background of the rapid development of computer and network technology, the requirement of data storage is growing explosively, the traditional data storage ways cannot afford the large capacity data transmission and high quality data management.With the huge growth of storage data, the concept of storage area network has emerged. SAN that connects data storage equipment thus makes a network which is independent of the host system, has many advantages such as high speed, high reliability, good scalability and simple management, so it has been widely used in the data center presently.FC as a High-speed network technology standard has been mainly used in SAN. FC aims to provide rapid and efficient performance of large data transfers. FC has a high network cost with the big investment and maintenance on equipment. FCoE transits the SAN data by Ethernet, through carrying FC protocol to Ethernet which is widely used achieves integration on LAN and SAN.The function of forwarding module in FCoE is to maintain the FIB (forwarding information base),to produce FIB according to the routing, to guide packet forwarding and finish the software forwarding process of FC packet in software forwarding process. In distributed projects, this topic is to realize forwarding in control board turn (including main board and standby board) to interface with the board unanimously, across the board shows that forwarding, according to published in the HA (High Availability) characteristic, messages sent across the board and debug switch forwarding module distributed synchronization. The function of Exchange module in FCoE is to manage various types of messages of FC protocol, put different messages to corresponding agreements to handle. In distributed project, this topic is to realize the Exchange module to transmit and receive a message of the distributed support, Exchange module of the distributed synchronization debug switch and HA characteristics. |
