FCoE(Fiber Channel over Ethernet) is the integration of new network architecture of Fibre Channel and Ethernet technology. It changed the original traditional single network storage technology fundamentally, the data center server I/O, network equipment and storage devices effective and comprehensive. FCoE uses enhanced Ethernet as the physical network transport media, via the fiber channel mapped to Ethernet, which can be transmitted over Ethernet servers to storage area network fiber channel storage devices and data requests.Issue focuses on the NPV switch FCoE network performance optimization of the link selection policies. FCoE Initialization Protocol original FIP(FCoE Initialization Protocol) in FCF discovery process, the priority will switch back to the node, ENode select the highest priority device links, this priority is fixed, and does not consider the network node load changes, in addition ENode when selecting NPV(N Port Virtualization) switch downstream ports, NPV is based on the number of ports up and down the automatic load balancing choice, without taking into account the actual flow switch NPV impact on performance situation. For these two defects, on the one hand the use of a switch exponential smoothing buffer queue length of FCF forecast, according to the duration of the observation period and given different weights to the buffer queue length, made dynamic priority calculation method; the other based on time segment packet situation, put forward in the FCM(FC Mapping) during the NPV method of calculation of the flow switch; modify the original mapping table based on traffic conditions, ENode selected according to the flow conditions upstream port mapping table. In the analysis NPV of each module functions based on the realization of the optimization program.By the OMENT ++ simulation platform NPV switch modules FIP process simulation analysis, the average response time and throughput of the existing agreements and improve both performance parameters of the agreement were compared, the improved link selection policy It was improved in the two indicators to achieve the expected research goals.
